As one of the most crucial parts in industrial dust collectors, electromagnetic pulse valve plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of dust collection. Today, we are going to introduce some basic knowledge about electromagnetic pulse valve.

An electromagnetic pulse valve is essentially a switch that controls the compressed air flow to the dust collector bags. During the cleaning cycle, it allows a high-pressure pulse of air(usually 0.4-0.6MPa)to be released in just milliseconds, which generates shock waves, removes dust from the bag surface, and blows the dust out of the collector through the exhaust system.

The electromagnetic solenoid, which is the core component of the valve, is made up of a coil of wire and an iron core with a plunger. When energized (1 / 10 sec), the plunger moves up, opening the valve ports and allowing compressed air passing through. The valve closes when the power is turned off, and the plunger returns to its original position, blocking the air flow.

The structure of the valve usually consists of a valve body, an armature assembly, a diaphragm, a spring assembly, and an inlet/outlet port. Different materials can be chosen for each component, depending on the working conditions, temperature, pressure, and chemical properties of the dust and gas. Common materials include aluminum, stainless steel, NBR, Viton, Teflon, etc.

When choosing an electromagnetic pulse valve, several factors should be taken into consideration, such as the size, shape, and capacity of the dust collector, the number and arrangement of the filter bags, the length and frequency of the pulse cycle, the quality and type of the compressed air supply, and the level of safety and reliability required.
