Theory and practice show that the dust elimination effect is better when the droplet size is 10 to 200 microns, and the droplet size for the best dust elimination effect is 20 to 50 microns.

The speed of fog droplets directly affects the effect of contact with coal dust. When the speed is 30 meters/ second, the dust reduction rate of 2-micron dust particles can be increased by about 50%. Generally, it should be ensured that the mist particle speed is greater than 20 meters/ second.

The coverage radius of the spray is also an important factor. When the coverage radius is large, it can cover more dust-generating points and increase the chance of collision between mist droplets and dust particles, thereby improving the dust elimination effect.
