Knowledge! Decent fog cannon helps agricultural operations in Malaysia

In the past, agricultural operations in Malaysia relied heavily on manual labor and hand-held pesticide fogers to eliminate pests and diseases. This method not only resulted in low efficiency and high labor intensity but was also hazardous to workers. Small-scale foging equipment also contributed to a slower agricultural development, prompting farmers to search for new alternatives.

Recently, new large-scale foging equipment has gained popularity among farmers in Malaysia. However, many of these devices are powered by traditional combustion engines, resulting in large amounts of noise pollution and air pollution. In addition, the limited angle range of traditional hydraulic cylinders limits their use in various operational conditions, making the use of these devices complicated and costly.

To address these issues, Decent R&D team has designed a new wind-assisted mist foging technology that provides full coverage and no dead angles. It includes an adjustable mechanism between the support frame and axial fan to improve the device’s angle range, enabling the fog cannon to operate with an angle range of -20 to 90 degrees.

The Decent fog cannon allow it to be used for various applications in Malaysia, from environmental cleaning to agricultural operations, with improved economic and societal benefits.

Through the new system’s improvements, the agricultural sector in Malaysia is ready for rapid development and safer pesticide foging applications.
